I know I'm VERY behind again!  I think I start every post like that lately!  But we have been having a VERY busy summer!!!  I'm going to try to catch up a little as I can.  A couple of weeks ago, my mom took the girls and I to the circus! 

We stopped in the Old Market district to have lunch......

At intermission my mom went out and got the girls some slushies in these horse cups.  Apparently I was the only one that thought eating a mound of red slushy out of a horse's head looked a little creepy.......

When the tigers came out Bella turned to me all excited and said "SEE!  I TOLD you there would be tigers here mom!!!"  Ha ha ha!

I'm behind on updating again!  Life is busy!!!  It just seems like there is something going on every day........that and trying to keep caught up with my house and homework!  OY!  So, I'll just leave you with some pictures from last weekend.......

Friday

Went out for dinner and drinks with Jess, Jillian, and Alicia!

We picked up Doug at one bar and gave him a ride to the next.  He didn't even mind sitting in the car seat!  Ha ha ha!  As you can see he's had PLENTY to drink by the time he asked me for a ride!

Saturday

Saturday afternoon, we decided to put up the swimming pool for the year.  The girls were so anxious to get in it but we're going to need some more warm days before that water is warm enough to get into!!!  Of course since the pool was put up, it's been kind of chilly here this week!

My friend Katie and her son Deshon came to stay with us Saturday night.  We grilled out and drank a few beers.  The weather was beautiful and we both got quite a bit of sun in the day!

Sunday

We got up and drove up to Kings Pointe Waterpark Resort.  Katie had free tickets from her aunt so it was a fun road trip up there to spend the day swimming and splashing!

Is it really June already?!?!?

The girls and I stopped at Jean's last night. (John's aunt)  I try to stop with the girls several times a week to visit.  The girls can ride their bikes there on the pavement so we don't even have bikes for them at the house because of the gravel in the country.  The girls always water all of her plants for her too while Jean and I catch up on what's going on.  Thought I'd share a couple of pictures from last night:

I have lots to share.  I was at a Regional Officer meeting Thursday and Friday.  More to come about that later.  Thought I'd share our weekend events now though.  I spent a majority of the day Saturday recovering from a hangover........always not as fun as the night before!  However, Saturday afternoon/evening we went to my mom's for a family BBQ.  My youngest brother Matt is a Marine stationed in Virginia right now and he was home for the weekend.  My other brother Eric and his girlfriend Jess (who live about 5 hours from me) were here for the weekend too so it was nice to grill out and chat!

I spent Sunday working on homework, grocery shopping......that sort of thing.  Jillian came over and we watched movies until 3:30 in the morning! 

I took the girls to the Memorial Day services yesterday morning:

I took the girls up to visit their Grandma Grace.........this whole morning was much tougher for me than I thought it would be.  I was fine until they called her name in the roll call and played Taps.

The girls were great though and had to check out all of her flowers to make sure they were alright.  Bella kept saying "Tell her to come out of her treasure chest.  I want to talk to my grandma!"

Randa was pretty excited about the WW II service flag they had put on her gravesite.  We still need to get the gravestone up!

Yesterday afternoon we went to my friend Joe's house for a BBQ.  We have a Relay for Life team and we are all doing a garage sale in a couple of weeks at his place so we met up to discuss advertisements and start working on sorting some of the stuff and planning.
